Kathy Petersen hails from Smithfield, R.I.she decided it was time to try her hand at something she had always wanted to do,sing in a local cover band. She had always loved singing and enjoyed doing local karaoke but wanted to take it to the next level.

She auditioned with a few bands finally ending up in a modern ” bro country” band and was with them for 5 years until they ended just before the “pandemic”. Forced to take a break then trying out here and there she ended up as a back up singer in Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute band which again was short lived.

She reached out to southern rock bands in Massachusetts and New York. She shared the stage with Beatin the Odds an Molly Hatchet this April as well as Vyntyge Skynyrd on a few occasions. besides singing back up she assists with hand percussion with SEB..
